  • What is your cancellation policy?

    A deposit is required to hold your place on the boat for a trip when booking. For cancellations, please contact us at least 48 hours in advance to avoid losing your deposit. All deposits are nonrefundable but will be credited toward a rescheduled trip.

  • Does this trip include all fishing tackle and bait?

    Yes, this trip includes all bait tackle and gear. This equipment and bait is specific to the type of fishing we will be doing on each trip.

  • Do I need a fishing license or permits?

    Yes, all anglers are required to have a valid Idaho fishing license and a Steelhead or Salmon permit if your trip is targeting those species. Anglers 14 years old or younger, are not required to have a fishing license or permit. However, young anglers may purchase a steelhead or salmon permit that will allow them to harvest and tag their own fish.

  • What is included with my trip?

    All fishing trips are done with heated drift boats. We will also provide rods, reels, bait, tackle and expert guidance. Licenses and permits are not included and must be purchased separately.

  • What should I bring for my trip?

    For fishing trips, you need to dress appropriate for the season and always bring rain gear. Our fishing trips do not provide lunch, so bring your favorite drinks lunch and snacks. For rafting trips, please wear quick drying clothes, bring sunscreen, a hat and a waterproof case for your phone. We will provide all necessary, safety gear.

  • Do you offer fish cleaning or processing?

    Yes, we will clean your fish at the end of each trip and bag them up. It is important that you bring a cooler with ice so that at the end of the day you may transport your fresh caught fish home safely.


    There is opportunities to have your fish smoked or freezer wrapped and frozen through other local businesses, ask your guide for help with those services at the end of your trip.

  • Are trips suitable for children?

    Yes, our trips are family friendly! We welcome children ages 6 and up for our fishing trips and ages 8 and up for our white water rafting.

  • What happens if there is bad weather?

    Trips will proceed in rain or cooler weather, so please dress accordingly. In the case of severe weather or unsafe river conditions, we will work with you to reschedule your trip or issue a credit.

  • Can I bring my own fishing gear?

    Our equipment is very specialized for each activity and your success will be better using our gear. However, if you check with us before the trip we can give you specifics on what is needed, and if your equipment is appropriate, we can make arrangements for you to use it.


  • How far in advance should I book my trip?

    In order to ensure the fishing date of your choice we recommend booking early as possible. The good fishing windows are short and seats are limited. For Spring Chinook salmon trips, bookings open at 8 AM mountain standard time on May 1 and must be made by phone. Only six people are allowed to participate in this fishery daily, so call May 1st.

  • Is gratuity included in the trip cost?

    Gratuity is not included but is greatly appreciated. If you had a great experience, tips for your guide are a wonderful way to show your thanks.

  • Can I combine fishing and rafting into one trip?

    At this time, our fishing and rafting trips are offered as separate experiences to ensure you get the most out of each adventure. However, you’re welcome to book both activities on different days for a well-rounded outdoor experience!
